President Alex LaBeau

Alex became IACI's fifth President on September 25, 2006.  Alex has participated extensively on IACI's Public Affairs and Tax Policy Committees since 1993 on behalf of the Idaho Association of Realtors. In January 2004 he was named CEO of that organization.

Alex is also the current chairman of the Idaho Liability Reform Coalition. He has served as president of the Boise State University Alumni Association and on the board of the American Red Cross.  In 2004, he was named to the Idaho Business Review's "Accomplished Under 40" list of prominent business people.

He holds a BA in Communications (journalism and mass media) and a Master's of Public Administration, both from BSU.  In 2001, he was inducted into Pi Alpha Alpha, the National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration.

Alex and his wife, Marilyn, have a five-year-old son, A.J.

Vice President Jayson Ronk

Jayson came to IACI in December 2007 with a wealth of political experience, including previous work in the executive branch in the Kempthorne Administration, legislative experience as a business lobbyist with the Building Contractors of Southwest Idaho and, most recently, campaign experience as the Executive Director of the Idaho Republican Party.

With a B.S. in political science from Idaho State University, Jayson began his career by working as a Field Representative for the College Republican National Committee following a United States Senate internship in Washington, D.C.

Jayson and his wife, Megan, reside in Meridian.

Communications Director Sharon Hawkins

Sharon has worked in the public policy arena for the last 16 years and joined the IACI team in January 2007.  Previously involved in a high-profile government affairs practice, she worked with a broad spectrum of business clients focused on key legislative issues, as well as coordinated many legislative, community and political events. 

Her association management experience includes four years as an administrative coordinator for the Idaho Consumer-Owned Utilities Association.

Sharon's prior administrative experience includes that of executive assistant to the Chairman and CEO of MGM/UA Communications, as well as office administrator for the investment banking firm, Merrill Lynch Capital Markets.

She and her husband, Cory, have three sons and are involved with various civic and community activities.

 

Administrative Director Marcia Jedry

Marcia joined the IACI team in September of 2008. She has a wealth of knowledge in the business management, finance and marketing arena. She has experience starting up, growing and running a commercial cleaning business with her husband and business partner here in Idaho. She knows the importance of client relationships and networking with people of all professions as this was her passion while working in the mortgage industry and helping to grow her cleaning business over the last four years.

Marcia graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

Marcia is one of the founding members and current Board members of the Intermountain Jet Boat Association (IJBA). The IJBA is a non-profit organization for jet boaters and often deals with legislative issues both on the State and Federal level. Marcia also served as the Treasurer of the Western Whitewater Association (WWA) for two years during her four years of Board tenure there.

Marcia resides in the Boise area with her husband and son. They enjoy everything Idaho has to offer including camping, hiking fishing, boating and the beautiful mountains and scenery.
