Legislative Committees

The committee process constitutes the bulk of IACI's work and occurs year-round, long before the legislative session begins. To research the issues, our members serve on standing committees designed to focus on issues of Public Policy, Tax Policy & Fiscal Responsibility and General Business.

We offer conference calling for those unable to attend committee meetings.
Please call the IACI Office for information.

Public Policy: The mission of the Public Policy Committee is to develop and recommend to the IACI Board of Directors policy statements which will address and serve to influence the establishment of public policy and thereby help to create an environment in which business can operate efficiently and profitably.  This committee reviews policy and legislative recommendations from IACI’s other standing committees and presents those recommendations to the Board of Directors.  The committee may also take up issues on its own initiative.  Each IACI Board Member and each General Business member paying dues of $5,000 or more is entitled to a representative and a vote on the Public Policy Committee.
