2007-2008 IACI LEADERSHIP ANNOUNCED AT 33RD ANNUAL CONFERENCE
ABOUT IACI: The Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry (IACI) is proud to be known as "The Voice of Business in Idaho" - representing the interests of the statewide business community on public policy issues before the Idaho Legislature. IACI works for businesses across the state to make Idaho a better place to do business. IACI is the only Idaho business organization that represents all sizes of business and represents all kinds of business. IACI is the broadest-based, most diverse business association in Idaho – and that’s what establishes our effectiveness in public affairs advocacy. IACI provides public policy makers with information on a wide variety of issues. These issues affect every business in the state, member or not. When lawmakers gather to decide on taxation, environmental regulation, employers' rights, funding or technological issues, IACI is there, always maintaining its role as a statewide business lobby, clearly focused on the issues.

IACI TO TRANSITION WEBSITE IN COMING MONTHS IACI has been afforded an opportunity to partner with BIPAC in Idaho to be the roll out organization for the Prosperity Project. This project is founded on utilizing a sophisticated web based platform allowing us to expand our grassroots capability. We are in the process of populating that website to offer our membership access to information and communication tools that they can utilize to communicate with not only legislators but their own employees if they choose. Approved by the IACI Board of Directors, the full transition to www.idahoprosperity.org is expected to be finished by mid-year, and all information commonly found on the existing website will be updated and available on this new, exciting, exciting IACI homepage!
